In Lufthansa flights, the permitted free baggage allowance is based upon the travel class and fare one has booked as well as the passenger status. It is usually shown on the passenger receipt.

In Intercontinental Flights:

Economy flight- 1 bag upto 23 kgs.

Premium Economy Class- 2 bags each upto 23 kgs.

Business class- 2 bags each upto 32 kgs.

First class- 3 bags each upto 32 kgs.

In European Flights:

Economy light- 1 piece of carry on baggage upto 8 kgs.

Economy classic- 1 piece of carry on baggage upto 8 kgs and 1 bag upto 23 kgs.

Economy Flex- 1 piece of carry on baggage upto 8 kgs and 1 bag upto 23 kgs.

Business class- 2 pieces of carryon baggage upt 8 kgs and 2 bags each upto 32 kgs.
